Paulina Villa is a Mexican architect, born in 1983 in La Paz, BCS. She studied Architecture at ITESM, Campus Monterrey, and graduated in 2008. She co-founded Studio Arquitectos in 2012 with Eduardo García and Lorena Ruiz in Tulum, Quintana Roo, and later in 2016, co-founded CO-TA Arquitectura (Colectivo Taller de Arquitectura) with Mario Torres in the same city. In 2024, she founded Paulina Villa Arquitectura. As the creative mind behind each project, she is supported by a team of talented architects such as Claudia Pacheco and Fabiola Serafin, each with their own legacy and experience. Paulina Villa remains a beacon of innovation and excellence in Mexican architecture. From the beginning, she commits to creating spaces that materialize the clients' intentions, making the most of what is available, customizing spaces to specific needs, and describing the result as having a "no-style" style, as it is not her own but belongs to the client and their users. She has been recognized in 2024 by the 7th Peninsula Prize from AAI for Casa Kaab Ka'an, in 2022 by the 6th Peninsula Prize from AAI for Hotel Irie, in 2017 by the 6th National Prize for Architecture and Interior Design from AAI for Villa Chérie, in 2016 by the 2nd Southeast Mexican Regional Architecture Biennale for Hotel Sanará, in 2015 by the Caribbean Mexican Architecture Biennale for Casa T, in 2015 by the Caribbean Mexican Architecture Biennale for Hotel Sanará, and in the same 2015 by the 4th National Prize for Architecture and Interior Design from AAI for Hotel Sanará.

Claudia Pacheco

Claudia Pacheco is a Mexican architect born on February 27, 1986, in Mérida, Yucatán, who graduated from the Autonomous University of Yucatán in 2013. After several professional practices, she settled in Tulum, Quintana Roo in 2016 to be part of CO-TA Architecture as a Designer. She works in the area of ​​architectural design and interior design until reaching the position of Workshop Manager.

Fabiola Serafin

Construction Manager

Fabiola Serafin is a Mexican architect born on March 16, 1990 in Macuspana, Tabasco, graduated from the Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco in 2014. After several professional practices, she settled in Tulum, Quintana Roo in 2016 to be part of CO- TA Architecture as Designer. He works in the design area and works simultaneously until reaching the position of Project Manager.
